    Cool bass wood rocks!!
The one in the pics has a nice rosewood board and abalone dots.
Pretty nice low buck guitar IMO I just want the maple board version.
At least the logo is in the right location on this one.
    Really? well screw Mark Twain.

My bud at GC was really nice to let me take pics for you guys.
Its a mid level guitar keep that in mind.
My pushing my GC for more mid and higher end Jacksons seems to be working.
This one needed some tweaking and a good set up but the platform is pretty nice.

I'm trying to talk my kid into getting a man's guitar..but he only like pointies.

Fuggit...I'll buy me one. Tried a couple...absolutely loved 'em instantly!

Shit, I wished it could be ALL white with maple..pups, and all. But they're VERY nice.

They are pretty damn cool I will say that.
I'm going to try and trade some low end guitars I have for one.
I'm set on amps since I snagged the Sovtek all the cheap guitars can go.

No offense, but I would say thats a low end guitar, generic pups, cheap floyd special trem, and I dont think they are abalone dots, probably plastic. It's a budget guitar, not bad for the price, but I wish they would have offered it more mid level like ESP did with some of their artist models(the 600 series). Better Floyd, pups, body wood, etc. Not bashing the guitar, it is what it is and is fairly priced. I think most people are buying it for the looks.

Well to be honest damon1 how many old 80's strat head Jacksons or Charvels have you owned or played?
Better floyds? oh come now its the same floyd in the mid level ESPee's.Don't yank my chain Homie.
I have been playing Jacksons and Charvels since the 80's and worn a few out, this new one is a pretty good guitar for the money and yes its a mid level guitar.
I don't play the oh thats a cheap guitar game just because your buddies don't like them for whatever reason.
Price is not always indicative of a bad guitar. How they play is what matters.

Oh and the no offense line I don't buy that either. You say that to make you feel better about being offensive I know the shtick.

This has been my exact point about the JS series. Considering the cost, they are amazing & I'll never part with mine.

Hmm ..low end guitar? I haven't seen these yet but if you go by charvel jackson history you would remember that charvettes were plywood. Those were low end guitars. This is certainly a mid level guitar that's designed to be hotrodded. Better Floyd, pu's etc would push this into a higher price range which will cause everyine to say they are "over priced" for being made in India.

My belief is that you can't please everyone. Soemone will always have something negative to say regardless of what it is.

~K~ I think you summed it up really well thanks!
We can all agree the same thing was said about the made in Japan model series back in the 80's-90's and the 90's Jackson professionals and now people love them.
I think these models in particular will hold up just fine in the future in the same way.
The only thing is we need to get over the made in India label and buy /play these and be glad Jackson offered these mid level guitars that at least look close to the old ones.
I can't build a strat head Jackson clone for $499.00 so this is a good option.

That looks pretty cool. I wonder if my GC has any yet. Might be time for a roadtrip out there to check.

Hell I want one with a maple board.
Just don't have the scratch right now.
Already have a German OFR and a few DiMarzio's sitting in my parts bin just begging to be dropped into one of these.
