I am new to the Jackson Community and the Floyd Rose setup in particular and was wondering why so many tremolo covers have been removed? Is this a coincidence or is there a valid reason for doing so? Thanks...Cosmo

cause people are lazy and removing 6 screws to adjust the springs when they restring or adjust tuning is just to much work. -

I leave mine on because the last thing I want while playing is for all the hair on my belly to be pulled out by the springs. I really like the newer covers that have openings cut to adjust the trem claw.Turn the volume to 10 and rip off the knob!
