  • Anyone own a RR24 "limited edition"?

What's a reasonable price to expect to pay for a 9/10 condition RR24 limited edition (black with yellow bevels)? Got my eye on one and the price seems a bit steep ($1200) for a used, but great condition RR24.
What are your experiences with the RR24? Worth the cash?

Does it have binding and reversed inlays? Might explain the 'new' price.

A Limited Edition RR24 will have ivoroid neck and headstock binding and reverse sharkfins. The regular production version had black binding and regular sharkfins. Not sure what you're looking at if it's got reverse sharks and no binding...

D'OH! My bad. I was looking at the body only. Neck and head stock DO have ivoroid binding.
So, what should a Limited Edition in 9/10 shape command?

IIRC there were 70 of them made. Not sure on that figure though. I think they were that price new. It's up to you though, I want one too, just like that.

edit- Just looked up the ad, shoot him an offer for what you think it's worth to you, might say yes, might say no.

Scooter- that's what I thought. There was a batch of 75 made. It DOES sound like the price when new. Ahh well. Might shoot him an offer but due to a recent humbling experience during a gig, maybe I better concentrate on learning how to play the axes I already own

LOL Then I'd say maybe $800 to $1,000 for the LE. $1200 actually isn't too bad, IMO.

It's really nothing unusual. Just had a train wreck of a night, playing-wise. Fucked up so many of my leads, even those I've nailed countless times before. Add to that a pissy venue owner/manager who kept fucking with our sound, "Turn it down" "turn down this guitarist's amp, I can't hear." Add to that an disinterested crowd & the myriad screw ups of the other band mates and you got a text book definition of "cluster fuck" That kinda set-back kinda shook me. My solution? Play my guitar better. Everything else will fall in line.
