Wait til MF has a close out for 299 again...Then sell them on ebay for 4-5 like alot of people did on the white ones!!But they didn't buy them on that sell, yea right!!

Nobody has even touched one yet here. And already folks are discounting them on a picture? When they ship they may be the shiz-nit. But with preclusions running wild we may just devalue the whole line to new players that have not had a first time experience yet. Or may hesitate to take it off the wall and find its what they have been looking for.
A maple Dinky Reverse sold for $595 w/o case back in the 90's. And with a licensed Floyd, not an original. And they did not have SeymourDuncan's. $899 sounds good considering inflation if you ask me.
      Satan forbid!

The pickup selector on the Dinky is now in front of the volume knob similar to a Strat or Ibanez layout.
The volume knob is also closer to the bridge pickup.
It has a "crowded" feel. I guess if you have little girly hands it works, but not so much if you have mits like mine.
Now I am paying attention and looking at it I can see the difference but other than the move of the pickup selector it's not that much really imho, if anything the placement of the volume knob further back towards the trem is a better idea.

It constantly pisses me off though that guitar manufacturers, especially Jackson, produce signature guitars where the artists specifically design their axe with the volume control moved away from the bridge pickup and then the production guitars (regular models) have the volume control RAMMED next to the bridge pickup.

So these are on the GC website now...anybody seen any around yet? I'd figure the dealers might get them first.

Yep... I got the MF catalog and noticed the MSRP on these is over a grand!
Even my wife asked if the folks at Jackson are high. Smelling too many paint fumes I guess.

Yet no one really complains about the King V's and RR's that have two volumes and one tone control where the 2nd volume is right on top of the 5 way blade. That setup sucks. You can't really get to the selector quickly with the 2nd volume in the way.
