Just bought a SLX

Just bought this for $425 new i should have it in a few days,I have i had the craziest urge to own a soloist the last few weeks.
I already have a new black OFR,a set of USA duncans(TB-5 custom/59n) and two YJM speed pots and a 5 way blade switch for different pu' options like split coils and parallel to upgrade it. I am hoping after i upgrade it it will be a really good guitar and comparable to a real soloist, I have read a lot of good things about these SLX models so we will see i guess?

Wonder if i should do the chrome hardware like the new pro series has which i was going to buy but cant stand the pirahna inlays in place of sharkies!

just got the SLX from UPS, played and inspected it for a few hours, damn these things are great for the Money!
Mine was bought used but in mint shape(i paid $330 shipped) and it had a fret dressing done to it and the action is sick low(less than a 16th" at the last fret) with no bad buzzing. Installed a JB/JAZZ set and it sounds outstanding! look at how dark the rosewood is! almost looks like ebony really happy with this even though i wanted the SL2H originally.
close my eyes i almost believe i am playing a SL2H
