Effing awesome, my jealous ass doesn't like you now. Just kidding of course. I'm not a big Ibby fan but I do like the looks of that one, and the Dinky is just great. Congrats!!!
I want to go out nice and peaceful in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in his car.
devane is resting quietly in the grave right now...couldn't find a bass player so the drummer is moonlighting in a band called stiilpoint while i slowly compose torquestra tunes...mostly classical stuff but some guitar ideas as well...guess i better look into some more recording equipment soon...probably getting towards time for another torq cd and probably should finish the second devane cd and throw it on the web for the hell of it...other than that...just been woodshedding...
i like both of them...very different animals though...first ibanez i've had with a thicker neck than a jackson...weird...d.m.
Hellbat, you really need a crushing white Duncan Invader for the pickup. P Rails just doesn't look brutal enough (and likely doesn't sound brutal enough either).
Actually it's a p-rails hot (the SHPR-2). In humbucking mode it's very similar in tone and output to an SH-5, with maybe a bit wider frequency response due to the unbalanced coils.
I admit it doesn't look as cool as an invader though hehe.
the ibby was a limited edition for guitar center in 2010 call a s5exi (yes i know it spells sexy somehow)...lol...they seem to be damned hard to run across...couldn't turn it down for the price...d.m.
