eerie dess swirl...cheap find on cl...trem wasn't returning to zero...so sharpened knife edges and teflon taped the studs...may buy some new inserts though..still great neck and looks pretty cool..d.m.

not sure...i think the guy before me replaced the trem as it looks like a schaller with no logo on it...thought it might be a jt 590?...the studs are silve but the trem is black leading me to believe it's not original...d.m.

Yeah must be a jt500 off of an early dx10d or something. Some of those had no jackson stamp.

That guitar should have had a jt580lp. Chrome ones can be gotten off of ebay for about $45 or maybe a member here has one to part with. The jt500 is the worst jackson trem but if you dont use the trem alot it may be good enough.

update,,,it never would stay in tune...come to find out there were cracks in the body by the floyd...soooooo...i bought another body...not eerie dess but pretty cool...just haven't found time to put it together yet...d.m.
