You WILL have to modify you guitar's body to install a Kahler. This will ruin the resale value of your guitar.
I had to drill 4 holes to mount the adapter plate for the Kahler, but it was on a guitar I have no intention of selling, so it was a small price to pay. I'm a Kahler addict, and having a Kahler on my WRMG made me love my guitar so much more than before.
Bolt-on doesn't mean NO FUCKING SUSTAIN!
I've owned only about 3 bolt-on guitars in my life, compared to maybe 4-5 set neck/neck-thru guitars. My bolt-ons always sustained better and sounded better (acoustically and plugged in) than the set necks and neck-thrus!
