  • Should I buy a relatively cheap DK2M?

    Hi All,

A local seller has a DK2M in white with the FR and Duncans (I think they're original, but haven't actually seen it yet). It's got a non-original case (probably a roadrunner), and I can get it for $230 or possibly less. It's probably a 2007, from what I can tell (seven digit serial # starting with 98)

    Thoughts?

I already have a USA custom (1989), and a Japanese Dinky Reverse professional (1992), as well as a 1987 Charvel Model 4 (and other guitars I won't mention here). Is there a good reason besides NGD?

    Thanks!

They are nice...if you can swing it, why not? I have an ordinary DK2 with rosewood and it plays and sounds very good.

MIJ quality for close to $200? Yes please. Paid $325 for my snowy whitey w/ HSC last Spring and it was the best money I ever spent. Just replaced the EMGs with a Super D and PAF Pro combo and this thing WAILS. Grab it and don't look back.

I bought it last night for $220. It's got a couple of nicks and needs a setup, but otherwise is in great shape. I'll post a NGD with pics right now.
