Could be a mistake in the factory but this has a heavier set of strings. It wouldn't intonate so she's in E flat now & is sweet as sugar cover fairy floss (that's cotton candy to most of you guys).
Nice guitar, just seeing this post now. Are you still using heavier strings on it where it wouldn't intonate? That doesn't really make sense. Heavier strings and tuning down would make it even harder to intonate if it wasn't intonating in standard E to begin with.

Nope, 9-42 in E standard, it's not perfect but much better than the strings it had on it, I reckon they might've been 10-46. One day I'll get a pro set up done.

I usually use floyds. Heavier strings create more tension, meaning you do a full new set up or you down tune to suit the string gauge. I assumed the same for any bridge, except floyds lift or sink with different gauges whereas fixed/string thru don't.

It's odd, I find floating bridges so much easier to work on.

I bought this Warrior JS32T (Natural Oil) of late:

I myself is considering getting one of these and update the hardware to gold and use better looking/sounding pickups. Getting a Mahogany Warrior body in that price range is certainly a great deal. Congrats.

Cool. I learned on Floyds and really got used to them for many years, then I sold off all my guitars with Floyds and only have fixed bridges. I'll eventually get something with a Floyd again.
