  • NGD! Jackson Archtop Pro + Where can I get tremolo plate screws?

    Hey everyone!

Have been looking for one of these for ages! Got in contact with Djpharoah on JCF and he sold me this beauty!

Plays so well, I am loving it!

Since buying it, I have installed a Dimarzio Clip Strap and have ordered a Tremol-no for the guitar.

I am also in need of the 6 screws that go into the tremolo plate on the rear of the guitar, does anyone know what pitch they are or where I can order them?

    Thanks!
    Markus

    Congrats! Sweet looking guitar.

Get in touch with Dave (Budman from the board). He has great replacement parts. Here's a link to his site and the screws you need.

Very slim! Some good news, got some screws on the way and have sorted out someone to refinish it in the yellow similar to Shawn Lane's 750xl

Let me give you an advise - don't touch the finish. it will make your guitar worthless.

                it's beautiful as is.
Sunburst is one of the most beautiful finishes out there

Just my opinion, but unless there's something seriously wrong with the finish on that guitar, which doesn't seem likely according to the pictures, I would strongly recommend to leave it just as it is.
As stated by goshac, the sunburst is a beautiful finish, and yours is one of the better examples I've seen.
These archtop pro models did come stock in the clear (yellow) finish that you're after. Keep this sunburst one as is and just keep looking for another clear finished example.
It may take time, but they're out there...........I know........I have a few......

Enjoy the hell out of it!!! It's a gorgeous guitar!

Love it. Don't touch it! That is indeed a very nice burst on that one.

Beautiful, indeed! Congrats. I also love the yellow/amber color more than cherry sunburst, but that cherry sunburst is awesome and really shouldn't be touched.

Congrats and Happy NGD!! I'd guessed you got the archtop you've always wanted!

That's a really nice finish...if it's not really banged up, my take is just to keep it as it is...

Glad you are not going to refin it that would be a damn shame.
                              Its a gorgeous finish.
                              Really? well screw Mark Twain.
