  • These new import Jacksons..... Any recommendations?

I'm interested in picking up an inexpensive backup and I was wondering which of these newer Jackson models should I look at.

I want the original (pointy) headstock and a floating trem.

    So opinions???

if I was in the market for one right now it would probably be one of the new DK2 Pro Series.
Crafted with the demands of the discernible player in mind, Jackson guitars give you the shapes, finishes and tones you love. From the venerable Rhoads, Soloist, Warrior and more, shop Jackson for the highest performance.

Or if you want a little cheaper look at the X series

If you don't insist on a new guitar, there are some fantastic buys on used J/C out there. Better quality in my opinion. I have 2 fusions and a model 5, all from the 80's, and paid less that $500 for each of them. Actually I have less than a grand in all 3 of them.

I was going to say the same thing.
Since its only a backup, go used.
