  • I'm considering this RR - Thoughts?

Obviously this thing is heavily modified. Does anyone have any comments on the guitar or the content of the add? Anyone played one? Own one? I haven't seen it but I may this weekend. I do miss the Jackson logo

    Thanks Guys...

Seems like a pretty complete disclosure in the ad in terms of the physical changes since it was stock.

Never seen or played one though. Looks nice, but I don't care for missing logo either.

Its seems Legit. I HATE that it doesn't have the Jackson logo. I suppose it could be replaced......I can live with the refin on the body but I really wish the left the headstock alone...

It's legit, just with a refin. Looks pretty neat, though.

          Here's some threads on the RR7R ;http://www.jcfonline.com/search.php?searchid=1543021
          96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

Assuming the serial is legit, you may be able to haggle it down since it is totally refinished.

And sure it is rare in some context I guess, but there are other non-custom shop guitars that are around in amounts of way less than 1,000

There are some other threads on these here I think

Serials are of course tricky for a few reasons but it would seem 965xxxx would fall in line with 2000, the year they appear in the catalogue.http://www.jcfonline.com/threads/125...hlight=965xxxx
