Its a Fushion HH, made between '92-'95. I'd like to see the serial number so I could try to figure out how they came up with 1987.
        96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

Me too . Love fusions, the idea of a les paul scale lenth and a stratocaster body and the thin jackson neck. I wonder if its rosewood or ebony fret board.

Nice im not familiar with the hh model. Think i might scoop this one up if i can just date it. Prefer 90 to 93 model professionals.

Rosewood board. Scroll to the bottom of this page for a list Professionals and specs: http://audiozone.dk/index-filer/jack...p#proconftable
Lots of good info if you haven't already seen it.

Well its got the square-baseplated JT580LP, so its probably 94... iirc there was like one transitional year between the Schaller JT590 and the Takeuchi JT580LP where they used the JT580LP on that guitar with the squared off baseplate. My 94 Soloist XL Pro as well as Rhoads Pro Std has that bridge... unfortunately the Pro Std is in storage so I cant verify the year. I say go for it. In my experience, anything with Professional on the headstock is a great axe. Ive always wanted an HH even though I don't like shortscale.

Yea i study it almost religiously. I dont know how i missed that model. I guess becaus mine is a std model and the pros rarely appear so i guess i just dont bother looking above those. I wonder if its on par with the std, xl or pro. Considering it has rosewood bound id imagine its close to the std model. Its a nice find tho. Agree?

I really enjoy the short scale and the low profile takeuchi. Mine plays like butter. I can basically bend the high e to the a or low e effortlessly. The only thing i dislike is that since its short scale lenth with the low profile it doenst have as much tone as a longer scale lenth and standard takeuchi.

Yeah very good find. They also came in a transparent red finish (no maple top or anything) that shows the mahogany grain off really nicely. That's the color Id like to pick up eventually.

                              Another note on that one.
It is a Black Cherry finish. That was a basswood body. Or at least thats what color it looks like in the picture.
For some reason that color was not mahogany like the other 2 colors, Black and Trans Red.
I have had all three colors. I still have the body from the Black Cherry. And the Trans Red is one of my main players.
The basswood was a good tone. But the studs in mine actually ended up pulling the wood a bit and cracking.
I have my nephew doing some artwork on it and I intend to reuse it.
                              Love the HH Fusion.
An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.
