I was just measuring my AS SDX for a musikraft neck and to my surprise the neck pocket is only 2. 3/16 and only goes to 2 1/4 at the very end by the body and it looks like there was a bad route job do,e to make it that way.the heel measures 2 1/4 all the way down.what I'm curious about is will a 2 3/16 neck fit in the pocket comfortably or will there be a gap.the AS neck has always had a bad overhang that is really noticeable.
