I did some mods to mine - 250K fender volume pot, tele switch, SD JB in the bridge and a di'marzio YJM in the neck. I had a custom pickguard made also.

That's exactly what I would do if I got one, except put in a Distortion insteed of the JB. Where did you get the custom pickguard from?
