It is so rare that I post something on here anymore. But now I have a reason to do it. I've received a new guitar. It is a Jackson SS1.
I wanted a 24.75" scale guitar and was looking at Jackson and Charvel Fusions as wel as Gibsons when I came across this one. It insanely cheap as the pickups have a touch of rust,
the same goes for the knobs, the tone and volume pot are two different type (I can't hear the difference
The plan is to give it some TLC and make it proper singer. Due to the fact that it was cheap and the neck feels really good I'm going to give it new pick ups and rewire the the whole thing
with coil tapping. It is also getting locking tuners and and I'm going to replace the slightly rusted bridge.
