              the question is:

              Are they real paint jobs or a print.
              Meaning, will every swirl and crackle look the same or will everyone be unique.

                if it's a print, it's going to be a pain in the ass to apply since it wraps around the body. AFAIK, Jackson has never used prints (apart from a brief period in the 90s when they did 'gravure' tops ie. printed maple under trans finishes), so there's a good chance it will be a proper finish

                    The original crackles used a process that is now banned by the EPA, so unless they've found a "greener" way to recreate the effect, I suspect you won't see as much variety as we had back then.

                        Martha Stewart has crackle paint. Don't know how good it is, or if it works on guitars, but crackle is available.
