Jackson teasing new finishes for the Pro Series Dinky
As if there weren't already several different finishes in the MIM DKs that I want to get my hands on!
I've been wanting to grab one of the chlorine bursts since they came out, and I've fancied the metallic purple, blue glow and silverburst... and now that green swirl. I want a full pic and I want it now.

if it's a print, it's going to be a pain in the ass to apply since it wraps around the body. AFAIK, Jackson has never used prints (apart from a brief period in the 90s when they did 'gravure' tops ie. printed maple under trans finishes), so there's a good chance it will be a proper finish
Jackson is doing some limited release models (the Bomber finish comes to mind) that use a decal graphic (under clear coat) which can be identified by a sunburst that cover the edges of the decal. Charvel also recently did a on a series of Custom Shop guitars commemorating the World Cup. Again, these have burst edges so they're easy to spot. Any finish that goes around the edge of the guitar is going to be paint and not a decal because the seams would show.

interesting. But as you say, easy to spot because they burst over the edges of the decal
Drumcityguitarland have got these up on their site as 'coming soon'. They're all listed as limited runs, 125 made worldwide. -
Good stuff! I'm a little disappointed that the headstock isn't swirled on the green one, though. The plain green headstock looks out of place to me, next to the swirl body.
It's not really that odd. Jackson has done that placement before on certain Dinky models from the mid to late '90s. I got a Dinky body off ebay many years ago (Musician's Friend had a few exclusive Dinky Reverse models like that) with the same switch placement similar to Ibanez.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
Anyone else wish these were offered in a hss config?
