Hey guys I'm new here! HELLO!
Approximately 3 years ago I bought a Jackson Slat7ST from American musical and I'm unable to locate any info on this guitar, I called Jackson and Fender answered, I gave them my serial number to find out the exact string guages this beast came with and they said 9-54 on the phone but I measured .058 on the B string with a digital mic. I want to maintain the tone this thing came with because there is no packs of strings that exactly match what's on it. I tried 9-56 and 9-59 and didn't like either but that's all they had. So I wound up ordering a custom set of individual NYXL'S in the original gauges. Anyway anybody heard of these Japan Model neck thru Jackson guitars? It's a great 7 string with a pretty amazing range of capabilities especially using Jamup or Tone Stack thru my sonic port VX on my iPad air 2. It's got EMG active pickups and Floyd Rose etc....paid $1300 for it at the time.
