Hi all, I just wanted to verify with you that I just got a proper SL-4. The bridge is a Takeuchi Japan, there are two duncan humbuckers, and the serial number is 004126. Of course it's neck thru and the serial is on the 22nd fret (SL-4 came with 22 frets and H-H configuration, instead of 24 frets and H-S-S configuration). Are my assumptions correct?

Cos' this, people reckon, and me included, is why pubs and drugs were kindly invented... To calm us all down, stop us going mental.

Sounds like a real SL4. The serial indicates made in Japan in 2000.

96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.
