  • Identify Jackson Guitar (Broken Headstock)

    Hi guys,

My ex-guitarist left his broken Jackson guitar. I've attached the pictures here:

Based on the serial number #9635278, it looks like it's an MIJ Jackson. I'm new to Jackson guitars. Would this be a Performer Series? I'd like to fix this guitar up. What would be my options here? Replace the neck? I've searched on eBay and I can't seem to find the same neck. Any advice would be much appreciated.

    PS-4 (Performer)
Any 24 fret Jackson neck will fit it.

Make sure your neck pocket is 2 1/4 inches, the standard Jackson dimension.
Not sure which models, but some Performers had a smaller 2 3/16 pocket.
        96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

^^^^^^^^ Ps4's definitely have a 2 3/16 neck pocket, I have a performer neck but it needs fret work.
