  • Stealth HX question

    I'm bought a stealth HX professional series at a pawn shop.Just curious as to what they are worth.It's in great condition,purple color with the 3 Jackson humbuckers,and string thru,are these rare?I have not seen many at all...

    I don't think they're all that rare. At a guess, value would be about the same as any DK2 or whatever from that period (not all that much). I'm in the UK and even over here I don't think you'd get a huge amount for one of those. Maybe the string-thrus are a bit rarer than the Floyd type, not sure.
    I had a Stealth myself, the HSS one, and it was a cool guitar, just a little too small for me with the arched body.

      I guess they're sort of rare. I've got a Dinky HX from 1994, and someone who used to work for Jackson said only about 100 were made, never featured in a Jackson catalog.
      The Stealth HX might be around the same, and I think I can only recall one or two people here with them.
      I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

        Also I have a Stealth PRO I can't seem to find any date info on.. ,ebony fb,MOP logo,MOP dots,serial is 901620...The fb is scalloped from 12 up,but looks factory as the inlays are still there.It's a bolt on,and the scallops are fairly deep.Others I've seen like that the inlays were gone..Any help appreciated..Not sure if it's a mutt.or?
