Need help identifying neck

I purchased this Jackson neck off ebay because I liked the figure and wanted to build a cheap parts guitar. Any idea what model it is?

I had a PS-4 neck that looked just like that.

Performer, or even a Professional such as a DR5, but where's the logo for 'Professional' or 'Performer'?

Good catch. I think my old PS4 had Performer written on it.

24 frets with offset dot inlays. No prof or perf on the headstock.

In a few of the catalogs, the PS4 PS5 and JS20 did not have Performer written on the headstock.
So, it could quite possibly be a PS4 with no label?


*yes, js20 was lumped under performer in the 96 catalog.

My JDR-94 has the same neck (but with "Concept" written on it).

DP 24? Dinky Professional 24 fret? Dinky Performer 24 fret? I'm not familiar with that style of markings.

I ended up ordering a PS4 body off of ebay at a decent price so let's hope everything fits together. Thanks again to all those who contributed information.

What's going on with those tuners? They look black in the first pic, chrome in the second & chrome with black knobs in the 3rd.

i'm glad you said that, because I thought it was just me and didn't say anything.

The tuners have black buttons to turn but the tuners themselves are chrome.
