    Soloist SL3 diagram and mod advice

    I'm prep'ing my SL3 for refinish work and was about to remove the pickups when it occured to me that I should find a wiring diagram before removing anything... So, anyone have a link to the SL3 wiring diagram?

    Also, while I've got the electronics out, anyone have any suggestions on upgrades or replacements to make before reassembling?
    Some of my Guitars:
    1) Late '80s Charvel HS neon nuclear yellow. H is a Seymour Duncan, the neck is stock. H/S
    2) 1990-1991 Les Paul Custom flame sunburst with ebony fretboard. Gibson stock pickups. H/H
    3) 1991-1992 G&L Legacy. Red. Maple neck, rosewood fretboard. G&L stock pickups. S/S/S
    4) 2003 Jackson Soloist SL3 was trans red. WIP refinish.
    5) 2006 Jackson Dinky DXMG. Gray, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard. OE EMG H/H

    Why don't you make your own diagram of what you have there or just take a photo of it?
    You can find a diagram for HSS on the Seymour Duncan website if you need it.

    I have an SL3 and wouldn't say anything needs replaced, that guitar is just about perfect. I did replace the middle Hot Rails with a single coil (Fender USA if I remember right) purely because I like the notch positions to have a bit of quack and a single coil is better than a humbucker or stacked single for that.

      As far as the mods go, I more meant swapping the pots or caps or any of that stuff. Figured if it's going to be out that'd be the time to upgrade anything.
