  • Does any one know what rhoads model this is?

I found this guitar forsale local in my town and I would like some info on it. The seller told me its a rhoads guitar but he is insure of the model. He wants $400 for it with a Jackson V hard shell case. I just want to know a little info on it and know if its worth $400, it seems to have a Floyd rose aswell.

Thanks for the model, The guitar is mint condition. Yep it is a Japanese Jackson I knew that but the seller was unsure of the model. Is it worth it then for $400 with hard shell case?

              For the love of....

If they were selling for $1000 - not MSRP, but that's what people were paying - when they were new, and you find one in mint condition for $400, then yes, I think it's safe to say it's a good deal.

I just went to buy it this morning, but I tried it out and I really didn't like the feel of it, I guess I am not use to that shape, it is very awkward to play sitting down. So I Passed on it.

Did you place the shorter lower wing between your legs? If you did not, I can imagine that it was very awkward indeed. For me RR is the most comfortable guitar shape.

RR is really best standing. It's a bit awkward sitting. Takes a little getting used to.

WOW! I can't believe he passed on that, even not liking the guitar he could have flipped it for a nice profit.

For $400 it would have been worth buying just to try it out to see if you could get used to it.

If there's any segment of import Jacksons that will start becoming more desirable over time, this MIJ would be one of them.

I wish Fender would have contracted World Guitar to build Jackson imports after bankrupting Chushin Gakki. That would have done the brand name some justice. Not that the new imports are horrible, they're just not MIJ or MIK quality, IMO.
