  • Help on ID of this unique Professional please

So several years ago I picked up this Jackson Professional at a garage sale. It has been heavily used, missing pieces, and dinged up. But, I basically bought it for the cool custom graphic. I can't find any serial number on it anywhere. I've searched pretty extensively but haven't seen any other Professionals with the three toggle switches which are 3 position. So anyway, my questions:

    What model is this?

Any guess on the year of manufacture?

    Anyone seen this graphic before?

It is signed "Cleland" at the bottom

I'm pretty much a Jackson and guitar idiot. What parts are missing and what are the correct parts to buy to complete.

    And, the guitar porn:

those 3 flip switches are most likely not original.
And Cleland is most likely the artist that painted it.

Doesn't look like a Jackson to me. To my knowledge, the electronics cavity isn't a Jackson shape nor is the neck joint correct for a Professional model.
      96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

Not a Jackson body. B.C. Rich, maybe?

Yeah, I noticed that, too, pianoguyy.
...not sure why I didn't mention it.

Headstock looks off to me. I'm guessing it's a Marlin or something similar. Look at that bridge rout.

So is this a frankenstein guitar?
                          Pieced together?
Why the graphic? Custom for a guitarist of Dangerous Toys?
                          Jackson Custom Shop?
                          Or just a piece 'o........

I only paid $50 or so, so not too concerned. I'm just curious about this thing.

It's Frankenstein or pieced together, yes.

Why the custom graphic, because someone wanted that clown painted on their guitar, thought it was cool.

Custom for guitarist of Dangerous Toys, I HIGHLY doubt it.

                              Jackson Custom Shop, No

Or Just a piece 'o ...... sadly, you got had dude... I'd keep it for wall art, being you've had it so long those people are probably long gone and or didn't know themselves.
