I don't think anyone but a band member would want that graphic on a guitar. It's not like that band ever made it big or anything....

I'm gonna say Arbor neckthrough that had a Kahler behind-the-nut lock at one time, unless those holes are for a Floyd-style retainer bar (seem a bit close together, though).

Headstock is definitely wrong, San Dimas-style heel (big block), factory trem route (painted cavity), knobs not in the way (definite sign it's not a Jackson ), and a bizarre trem route, most likely the same "short bus" Kahler that came on the Charvel Model 2 before they Floyded them, old-skool Concorde logo.

But hey, if the pickups are Seymour Duncan and not Designed, and not bjorked, you came out ahead.

Why the graphic? Custom for a guitarist of Dangerous Toys?
        Jackson Custom Shop?
        Or just a piece 'o........

I only paid $50 or so, so not too concerned. I'm just curious about this thing.
Like others had said, probably a parts guitar and definitely not a Jackson customs shop. Most likely a local artist painted it for himself or a friend. The graphic work is decent but too elaborate.

I saw Dangerous Toys several times back in the 90s - great live band and I love their first 2 albums. Here's some other guitars with the DT clown and artwork. These were refinished by GMW Guitarworks. Likely Dan Lawrence did these graphics back then.

A killer clown would be a cool design. It doesn't automatically make someone a fan of the band.

I figured someone took a Floyd off of it and put on a cheap trem. I assumed that is why the trem and the route do not match -- it probably matched the original.

Custom Shop? GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE.
Frankenstrats, pieced together, junk? Rip it apart. You may get lucky and find a markings that tell you what it was.

$50 --- we've all said our piece. And I think I can safely sum it up by saying this:
Take the pickups out. Sell them. Take the tuners out. Sell them. I don't think anyone here sees any value to it as a guitar. We see a couple parts that can be sold and a couple that can be thrown in a box and used in the future if we ever need them.

....Or if the guitar plays and sounds good..Keep it! Therefore NOT junk and a unique one at that. It it doesn't play and sound good. It is what it is for $50.

As said, Dangerous Toys didn't make it big. They started gaining MTV popularity right before Grunge killed shredders. It didn't actually kill them. Like reptiles most burrowed underground and became louder, heaveir and better. Some maintained their status via Europe/Japan and everwhere but the States..where Eminem/Kenye West, Beyonce are huge!

I'm not a Dangeruous Toys fan but I do like Jason McMaster in Watchtower! He's also w/ JCF member Annah's camp Ignitor along w/former DT memebers (I think) That's pretty good! >>> https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ignitor_(band)

Yeah..appears to be parted with BC body perhaps. Looks like it'll need much TLC to be a player/keeper. That should clean up 'as is' if you like it. But look at Eddie, He used the holy grail of parted piece of shits!

No Floyd post holes. They would be even with the humbucker ring. Had to have been a Kahler with the narrow pivots or some sort of brand-specific v-trem with a longer baseplate than what's on it.

Or, maybe that's the original trem and someone cut the back of the slot out for pullups.

You have a guitar with a Buddha graphic?

Which shows you just how relevant some of those bands were. Except Donna. Gotta luv some Disco Donna.

And yes, Danger Danger sounds about right. I remembered it was a double double. Bang Tang Dang Dang. White snake white lion great white white zombie.
I can't keep them all straight. Especially when my head is filled with awesome tidbits like Nee Nee Na Na Nu Nu Nu by Dicky Doo & The Don'ts.

**I just YouTube'd Bang Tango. There's a nice day-glo Soloist in one vid, and a boring black Charvel in the other. \\nn//

I always thought Bang Tango was decent, but not a huge fan. Never really cared for Danger Danger, but Andy Timmons is a hell of a guitar player!

And who doesn't love Disco Donna?!?
