  • Help to identify Jackson guitar

Hi everybody. Greetings from Norway. I have found this guitar on a Norwegian site and wonder if someone can identify model and year on this. I have never owned or played on a Jackson guitar and find this guitar very interesting.

JS30DK made in India, roughly around 2005. Cedro body, CVR2 pick ups, JT580LP bridge. In that condition no more the US$100 & that's pushing it.
I have a white one, not a bad axe at all but an entry level model all the same.

Edit: Didn't see the serial# pic, that's a Japanese number, could be a late 90's model or had the neck plate swapped. Also the EMG won't work with the other pup so that's most likely disconnected.

The neckplate is the original one. Could it be a Japanese dk3 from 96? Price for this guitar is about is $120. Is it worth it?

They have the model wrong, because that's not a DR3.

Ok, no dr3. Maybe not a bargain after all.

Force is right, it's a JS30DK. They were made in Japan for a while in the early-mid 2000's. That number indicates 2001-2.
              96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.
