Thanks. New colors are also showing up on the Jackson website. Kawasabi green seems to be their popular colors for '16.

Kawasabi Green isn't a new color, and the Speedloader Floyd is also not new.

Educate me. What's up with the nut on the tuner-less Jackson above?
            96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

Its a speedloader, so that's the string ends you're seeing , the strings have copper "bullets" at both ends (have a look at the floyd)

BC Rich heavily used them a few years ago.

You need to buy special strings.

As to the picture itself ---
                  SL2H
It was the only color image available when I posted.

I had been looking at an SL2H the other day (f. u. frank) and went to their website but nothing was there - literally, nothing. Knowing that NAMM is near, I figured it was a redesign of the site, so I kept going back every day to see an update. Yesterday, most of the pages seem to be up and working. I saw the stringless headstock and thought I should post it here, luckily someone had already started a thread.

I know that speedloaders aren't new. And I noticed that the headstock says Custom Shop on it. But the image is listed as being the standard model, and the specs did not mention tuners yesterday (but they do today).

I think I'd have to install some non-functional tuners just for the sake of aesthetics.

Ah, the Fender grip is strong: "Look, new colors this year!"
Division - American Metal that doesn't suck. Much. Even on Facebook.

Interesting. First time seeing that setup on a Jackson.

So they are actually going to make us wait till NAMM starts to reveal the new stuff? Lame. I guess there'll be the X Series Soloist HSS and ... new colors.

The new ones are up on the Jackson site. Monarkhs (LP shape) across the board. A bunch of new colors and finishes for Soloists. One new signature guitar in Rhoads shape--for the other guy in Gojira. No speedloaders in sight. Still no Pro Warrior , no Pro Kelly, no Pro Rhoads with 24 frets .

Crafted with the demands of the discernible player in mind, Jackson guitars give you the shapes, finishes and tones you love. From the venerable Rhoads, Soloist, Warrior and more, shop Jackson for the highest performance.
