Gonna change the strings and do a full setup on it tomorrow and do a "honeymoon's over" video of the guitar. Go over the fine details and see what there is to nitpick. It came with D'Addarios, which I hate because they're hex-shaped. Like kneeling on pencils.
Might also add a 2nd battery so each pickup has its own. Sounds a bit different than the traditional 18v mod, at least with EMGs.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

Their plain strings are hex, or at least octagonal. Having not played for any length of time since November, my fingers are back to Factory Fresh so the little things are noticeable.
However, on closer inspection, the ball ends are not colored like the standard D'Addarios, so they're either some generic model or another brand. Either way, they feel way different from Slinkys.
The neck is also super-thin. Reminds me of the JTX neck on the Halford, or a Wizard neck. When I change the strings I'll measure the thickness, but I'm gonna guess .690 or less at the 3rd fret.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

Hmm, I knew the wound strings were hex, didn't realize that about the plain ones. I believe EB Slinky are also hex, but it's been awhile since I've used them, mainly Power Slinky.
Interesting about the real thin neck, too. I'm out, since I prefer thicker necks.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
