Hi guys,
i need help identifying a guitar I am thinking of buying.
I have uploaded the pics in this album
I honestly don't know what to make of this..
- The neck has the "Professional" logo and offset inlays.
- The serial number appears to be 7-digits, starting with 97 as far as i can see.
This makes it a japanese Dinky reverse made in 97 so far, right?
BUT
At the same time:
- There are pickup rings (i don't think reverse dinkys ever came with those)
- The body has a trans amber/ sunburst color - and as far as i know there was no dinky reverse in such color
- The tremolo is stamped just "Jackson" - can't see any "Licensed under..." stamping
- On the back of the headstock there is the allen key holder - was that ever stock with jacksons?
Those things would probably indicate to me that the body is of a newer non-jap import?
What do you think we have here? Could it indeed be a stock japanese dinky?
How much do you think it is worth?
Any help is greatly appreciated as I have to make a decision soon!
