  • Here comes Dinky!

Hello, my first post. I had been hovering over this forum for getting information on an MIJ Jackson Professional Dinky RVS . I was looking to buy my first Jackson. Im sure, this is a legit model.

I paid around approx $380 in PKR.

From my understanding, its made in 1993. I did check the FAQ, but its better you guys see.

The humbuckers are modified with DiMarzio Evos.

I personally found this guitar to be very comfortable at playing. (Comparing an LTD EC-1000 and an Agile Interceptor)

    Here are the pictures attached.

I think it seems to be the case. Frankly the guitar plays like a dream. Guess it won't be of any collectors value. Any idea about the serial?. I think,it's most likely an old neck with a newer body.

Possibly a PS4, but the 93xxxxx serial is making me believe it's an early JDR '94 Concept. Both the PS4 and the JDR were available in a similar blue finish. Mid-'90s RVS neck seems like a safe guess.

Remove the neck and check for models stamps on the neck heel and pocket. Can't guarantee you'll find any, though.
          96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

I'll guess I'll let it be for now. Do you think the price paid is worth it?, assuming this guitar is rather strange.

Could it be a custom model made on demand?
