I saw one of these at the store months ago and it peaked my interest so I played it for a it. I was surprised how good it sounded and how well it was built. And the short scale makes it soo comfortable. I couldn't get the guitar off my mind, and after playing them a few more times I bought one. The bridge pickup is surprisingly good, very EVH. The neck pickup isn't that great though. I'll probably end up replacing them though, along with the other electronics and hardware

Congrats! I've played a couple of them and thought they were pretty good too.

Pretty cool guitar. Could be the neck PUP sounds a little off because of its placement
      due to the short scale?

I think that's definitely part of it, it sounds quackier almost like a middle pickup, but mostly it sounds thin and weak, like a single coil. I almost thought it was wired wrong, but it's not humming or anything. I'll probably upgrade the wiring and see how I like the pickups then. If I find myself liking the bridge pup enough, I might leave it. Otherwise I'm considering some Wilde L-500s

Those look pretty neat! Congrats. Not sure if I could get used to such a short scale, though.

The short scale isn't so bad, but forget about playing the 23rd/24th frets

I'm planning to upgrade the tuners and bridge, I can't decide if I want to stay with the all black look, or if I want to go with chrome. I thought chrome would look cool, especially with matching pickup rings, and it is cheaper chrome hardware than black. But them it might be like putting a pig in a tuxedo, it's going to look like a cheap guitar no matter what. Any thoughts?
