Well, I painted it and changed everything one it so, I guess I assembled it from a model four that was crack headed out. It had a j series neck and route single to a hum. Toomanyjacksons Turner it into a three Hummer though.

There are really only 2 things it could be.

1 - DXMG with swapped pups

            or

2 - DX10D with a DXMG neck and trem (but why?)

Don't most other NON-ARCHTOP dinkys have the extra cut in the bottom horn for added access?
Transitioning from Retired Musician from cover bands to a Full time vocalist/frontman/guitarist in an original and covers band....it's been a while and this should get NASTY!

              No. Some do, some don't.

A DX10D would've needed a hardware change, too, since they only came with chrome. Unlikely, but totally possible.
Not sure about the shown JT580LP tremolo fitting that nicely in a route that was designed for a JT500, though. DX10D's were exclusively JT500's I believe, but I may be corrected.

Not sure what the numbers are on models the lower horn bevel, but many have it many don't. I'd say most have it.
                96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

Hey all, apologies for the delay, had a busy week. As recommended, I took the neck off and checked the pickup models while I was at it and you guys were correct. A DXMG with changed pups!

                  Bridge & Neck Pups

Interestingly, these are the same model of pickups that I took off my own DR3 about 6-7 years ago as below:

                  - I replaced these with a couple of DiMarzio's, I wasn't keen on their sound after a few years so I find it odd that the EMG-HZs were swapped out with those but oh well.

                  And here are both side-by-side:

Thanks for all the help guys. Hugely appreciated.
