I just want to say everyone is throwing bullshit prices at you

Best thing to do is to go on ebay, do a completed listings search on used guitars that actually sold. right now, that's looking kinda bad for you.

Get the best deals for Jackson Sl3 at eBay.com. We have a great online selection at the lowest prices with Fast & Free shipping on many items!

So you want to sell a MIJ SL3? I'd put it on ebay with a price of $799 or $899 with a Make Offer and see if you get anyone willing to buy or make an acceptable offer. That's what I'd suggest doing.

I paid £500 for mine a few years ago. Been trying to sell it recently for £400 but not had any interest. £400 for a guitar of this quality is a bargain right?! I'm not desperate to sell but I have a PC-1 and an SDX which I'd rather play if it comes to a superstrat type guitar so thought I'd lose this one.
Looks like we'll just have to hold onto them mate.

But the lack of binding on these and the RR5 kills it for me. I'd rather get an M6 or a 650XL for that price range.
Yep, the lack of binding does my tits in. Otherwise my SL3 is about the best guitar I've ever owned.

I tend to agree with you and thank you for your comments but I also don't want to call bullshit on anyone who is just trying to be honest.
It seems people are not willing today o pay for quality instruments. It really show if you go to your local music store and just look at the amp offerings now. Around me there is not real professional level amps on the floor anymore. It's all small 1x12 combos and practice amps. Rare will you see a 2 x 12 let alone a manly 4 x 12 new with a 100 watt head from anyone.
Maybe I'm living in the past with that thinking but I like having a strong head so I can do anything I want with it and not be stricken to the to me suck ass tones you get out of a lower wattage 1x12 combo.
