Just heard an example of a 2012-present MIC JS neck not fitting on pre-2012 Indian JS body. The Indian is 1.5mm too big. All reports to my knowledge is the Indian models had a standard 2 1/4 pocket.
This is just one example, so it may be explained away with further info, but I'd surmise if you're planning on swapping one of the recent JS necks with a 2 1/4 pocket you should take this into consideration.
I was actually hoping to pick one of the bound necks up to add it to my MIJ DKMGT. It'd be a nice change with the standard headstock, sharkfins and a rosewood board that is oftentimes almost black.
