          How would you go about stripping it? I took the clear coat off the back of neck of my black one because it seemed to be overly sticky......but how would you safely strip the body and neck? I would enjoy seeing what it would look like just oiled.

            Either some kind of chemical stripper or a scraper, maybe a combination of both.
            I had a local shop do it to my Hamer a couple years ago.

              Ill look into and follow up. Ive been curious what it would look like. I will leave my neck as is at this point but I will look into stripping the body.

                Aircraft stripper does a good job removing paint if you lightly scuff the clear coat first.
                Sanding the paint off you run the risk of ruining the contours of the body.

                  I`m not real big on reversed headstocks, but I love the guitar other than that. Under $200 is insane for one of these. Congrats.
