  • Please help identify Charvel/Jackson Guitar

    Charvel Jackson:
    Color:ReD
    pickguard Black
    trem: flat black
    Serial: 6 digits starts with 225XXX
    Maple neck Bolt on: the tip is rounded at the end?? 22 frets
    logo: neck face is black with white "By Jackson/Charvel" picture of a guitar pointed headstock with tuners TM at end
    rear plate stamped made in Fort worth texas
    Picups:
    bridge jackson J-100
    Middle Jackson J-100
    Neck : Seymour duncan ( added after?)

    Scroll down to the charvel model series its one of those most likely. And welcome to the forum.

    You have to host the pictures on some hosting site and link from there.

        Somebody shaved the pointy headstock down. It's not supposed to be rounded.

          So it is a Model-1A. From 1986 according to the serial. Probably the tip broke off the headstock and someone rounded it off.

            I agree, it's a Charvel Model 1A. Looks to be in good overall shape aside from the rounded-off headstock tip.

            The neck pickup looks like a Seymour Duncan Vintage Rails. That's definitely aftermarket. But it's a USA-made pickup, as are the stock J100s in the middle and bridge positions.

            The tremolo bar and the white pickup switch tip are not original, but are minor details.

            The bridge saddles are not original to the guitar. The ones on my Model 1C look like this:
