Refurb on my 90 Soloist Pro

Heres some pics to start. Disassembled,wetsanded,buffed and waxed. Cleaned every nook and crannie!
New hardware going on. Refurbed the pickups also.

Seems like any of the Pro's are getting harder and harder to find for decent prices. I want a soloist with an ebony board but don't feel like paying almost $1300 on an import. A warrior will be even more pricey I bet.

I haven't seen a MOP labeled Pro series in years. I keep hoping one will pop up in one of the local pawn shops, but they never do. There is one shop that has what I think is a MIJ Kelly with Jackson case for under 300 bucks. I keep looking at it (they've had it forever), but it doesn't have a Floyd so it doesn't hold my interest very long.

Take some pics of that guitar and share them here. Might be able to help you identify it and pinpoint if it's a good deal. If it doesn't have a Floyd, what DOES it have? Kahler? TOM?

It's a TOM.

Off the top of my head I cannot think of a Japanese Kelly with a TOM bridge except the KE7R which was a 7-string.

The JS Series Kellys had/have TOM bridges but they weren't ever Japanese.

The KEXT has a TOM bridge but it's Indonesian.

So here is the finished 90 Soloist Pro.
New tuners-new saddles and screws. Had to helicoil the bridge screw holes some were stripped. Hand painted the Jackson logo on the neck and middle pup. Took a few hours..
Sanded and buffed to mirror finish. Also.scored a new Tsa jackson.Soloist case for $40
Take a look.
Now all I want is my damn Warrior pro lol
