Is Buying A Jackson PS-4 in 2018 A Good Deal?

I've finally moved on from my Yamaha Gigmaker Guitar and recently bought a Used Jackson PS-4 with Dimarzio Megadrive Pickups from a guy on Facebook for RM1450 (350USD)
Is it true that it's an authentic korean made Jackson?





He bought it 6 Years ago and said it wasnt used that often.Is there a way i can find if this Jackson is Authentic?

Everything on it looks authentic minus the bridge pickup for a Korean performer.
I'm sure the guys with more experience will know better but everything I can see on it says Korean ps-4

Might be new. They're still available through DiMarzio's Custom Shop, and shops have them on Ebay and Reverb.

The old Jackson pickups are decent. Some people love them, some don't care for them too much.

Never tried the stock Jacksons .
Got the guitar equipped with a Megadrive.The outside part is kinda rusty though.Will that effect the sound?

No, it'll be fine. You can even use a tiny bit of WD40 and scrub with an old toothbrush to clean it. Though, it's advisable to do it out of the guitar, or at least get a shop vac or something to clean out any loose rust that may perhaps fall off and get stuck inside the pickup wire.
