I have an opportunity to pick up a Dominion in Riverbed, but I am having a hard time figuring out if its legit or not. Truss rod cover has some other crazy sig on it but that's not that big of a deal. Once I figure out how to post pics then I will, serial number is 082474 on last fret, everything else looks good from what I have compared to others online. Sperzel tuners, double Duncan 59's, chrome hardware, painted neck. Can anybody help with the serial number? Cheers

I don't see any pics w ur last post but the 08...serial number is a 2008 built MM and the 59s, Sperzels and painted neck are legit for that first generation Morton. Made in Japan. I have a similar era one in what I think is the bourbon color. The trick is finding a good fitting case for these as the OHSC are like hen's teeth!"Your work is ingenius…it’s quality work….and there are simply too many notes…that’s all, just cut a few, and it’ll be perfect."

It's a high quality axe due to the Japan plant. Production has since shifted to Indonesia for the Mortons which I hear is good, just never tried it myself. You can tell the newer ones bY the rhomboid- shaped electronics cavity cover like a Les Paul versus the older ones that use a standard large Jackson cavity cover. If it's not banged up, I'd take an older one over a new one any day of the week."Your work is ingenius…it’s quality work….and there are simply too many notes…that’s all, just cut a few, and it’ll be perfect."
