Hello guys,

Iam currently trying to identify my Jackson Kelly but I'm a little confused to which model it is. The serial number on the neck is 086000. There is a Made in Japan stick on the head. If someone could help me that would be awesome !

Thanks a lot! That seems to be it.

For some reason I didn't even know the KE5 existed. I was only looking between the KE2 and KE3 models. I knew it wasn't the KE2, but it was neck-through so it confused me.

No problem. They didn't exist very long. There was also a bolt-on KE4 with dot inlays many people don't know about.

Those had the higher quality FRT 02000 tremolos instead of the often seen JT580LP from that era.
