I'm getting a RR5

I have the worlds greatest husband. I had been trying to save up for a RR1, and then we ran into some financial problems, so I had to use the savings to "fix" things. Anyway I was ok with that and was ready to start saving again. Well, my husband kept telling me he felt bad about me not getting a guitar anytime soon.
So the other day (not sure when) he apparently applied for a Music 123 credit card, managed to get approved for a grand, and ordered me a RR5 (the black one). I didn't know he did any of this.
Today I was checking the email (I wondered why HE was checking it like crazy lately)...I get an email saying my guitar has shipped. Fed Ex says it should be here tomorrow [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
I can't wait. I'll post pics (of course), I'll be out of town all next week, so it will be the week after.

Congratulations!

I have an RR5 and the USA equivalent, the RR1T. I can honestly say that except for the trimmings (rosewood vs. ebony, non-bound vs. binding, etc.), the RR5 is just as good as the RR1T. It is truly a fantastic guitar.

May I make a suggestion? Order some gold pickup bezels and a brass "RR" truss cover from our own Budman to REALLY class the axe up!

Thanks for the comments. For a man who knows NOTHING about guitars (except I like the "pointy ones", he made an amazing choice..and he went to all that trouble..anyhow, let me enjoy it for a week or so, then Budman...I need some parts LOL....(please).. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I got the truss cover from Budman, but got the pickup rings from Warmoth. Budman should be able to hook you up with those, too, though. I didn't know he had them when I ordered mine from elsewhere.
