is that an original Warlock? regardless of it, it's a very beautiful guitar, so is your RR-5, gotta love BC Rich and Jackson

yeah the warlock is a mid 80's it's been refinished it originally had a natural finish i think.someday i might get it redone properly. I'd like to get a usa rr-1 someday but no way would i part w/the rr-5 i really like the way those have a modern yet vintage look.

That Warlock kicks major ass! Killer maple board too. First one I've ever seen on a Warlock. The first electric I ever got was a Rave II Warlock, still have it too. It doesn't compare to yours, but I still love it nonetheless. Jackson and B.C. Rich rule my world.

Hamner, right about the goofy Widow headstock. I remember when Blackie Lawless from WASP inspired what was then called a WIDOW MAKER or something and had the same headstock on his custom BC Rich guitars/basses. Works for someone like him, but not as a mainstream headstock.

Yeah, it was a Widow bass that Blackie played. D.D. Verni from Overkill also plays them. I've always thought those headstocks only looked good on the Widow guitars/basses and look cheesey on other B.C. Riches.

anyone have any idea how fast that gold fades and or tarnishes? esp on the pickguard or what would be a good thing to polish/clean it with? i guess as little as you have too

Depends how acidic your sweat is. It's best not to polish/clean it often either, as that will also rub the plating off. The gold hardware on my Carvin has started to wear a tiny bit on its TOM bridge where I rest my palm. I've heard of people putting clear nail polish on gold hardware so it doesn't wear as quickly.

Seeing as you guys mentioned it here's one of those goofy widow headstock bcr's, my son plays this one. It's pretty much standard on most of the imports. It looks allright in black I think. They should have it on like a goth series or something and go back to the inline or reverse on their other models. that way it'd be more of a novelty. When you play one of those it makes the neck look 6 feet long looking down on it and of course ya gotta watch them points N.J Warlock
