• Jackson convert

After owning a few cheap wanna be guitars, I finally got a guitar that I just love. A trans blue, flame maple. Fusion Pro, what a nice guitar, I put my Peaveys on Ebay the next day. I am kinda partial to the 24.75 scale and thin neck and the active pup is great. I hope to get a few more Jacksons in the future, I look forward to gaining information from all you regulars on this forum, Later FF

Welcome!!!! I didn't know Fusions came with active pickups. What's in there right now? Congrats... Jacksons are mildly addictive to put it lightly.

To post pictures, follow this link but start reading the directions where they mention a free photo sharing website, Photobucket:

I don't believe Fusions had active pickups... active circuitry perhaps, but the pickups themselves were passive if I recall correctly. I'm still learning stuff about Jacksons and Charvels everyday so I could be totally off.

I haven't figured the active circuit thing yet, seems to give a high end boost on any of the pups, great for shredding on the hb, the 9v. circuit board hard wires straight to the volume pot. anyway it is fun to experiment with.

Yup. I bought my first one a couple of months ago and now have three! This is just the beginning for you.

                            Re: Jackson convert

I have a couple Peaveys, a mexi-strat and a Epi. LP, The Peavey Tracer is actually a fairly decent Jackson copy, just not nearly as nice and a copy is just that a copy. I guess this Fusion Pro is a Japanese made guitar from what I have seen, I am really impressed with the quality.
