Made in japan?

I'm looking to buy a jackson Professional "made in Japan".
it is new... yes it's been taking dust in a shop for all these decades.
i have checked the serial number with the support service of Jackson (Fender) and they do not have any match so assumed it was manufactured prior to 2002. I see this guitar there for so many years i am negotiating a price. The owner mentioned it is some Jackson's best made guitars as "made in japan" however, all i have for it is sticker on the back. I cannot match the guitar with any model as it is marketed as a DK2 however, the configuration seems more like a DK3 with H-S-H but I'm not an expert and I'm not sure to whom to turn.
can someone help?

There are very few Jackson imports with HSH pickups, so that immediately narrows down the range of models. Here are the ones I could identify. Look through the following list and see if any of them matches the guitar in question. While the Japan shop made a lot of knockouts, not all of them were. They made a wide range of models, and the Dinky model range (bolt-on double-cutaway 7/8 Strat size) had not only the widest variety of models, but also had some of the biggest turds, especially in the mid-90s, which is why you don't see them that often.

In the H-S-H configuration, there was one in particular which was more of an SLS body shape with smaller horns than a normal Dinky shape which was a truly horrible concept because it was just cut wrong everywhere.

Are you referring to the SDK2 Super Dinky?
