Is this actually a Korean made Performer - not Professional?

the ps2 would be a performer but would not have been 1992, nor would it have had a maple board.
performers were both japanese and korean depending on year.

Guitar has a Schaller (made in Germany) Floyd Rose and it says ”Charvel”. And the fretboard is rosewood (picture is not very accurate).
Perhaps it is some kind of Professional Dinky?

Could have been PS2 originally. I had a PS2 that was probably korean made with the wider apart dot inlays and it developped a nasty warp in the neck and it had the jt-500 tremolo that wasnt very good. Anyway that at 420 euros is overpriced.

the knobs and pickup selector are not correct for a ps2
and humbucker would have had a pickup ring

but all of the above could have been changed, and a paint job would make it easier to hide

            Rosewood with black dots?

A ps2 would have come with a 500. So a 590 would be a perfect match and would have been an upgrade.

              That's maple, not rosewood.

                Rosewood with black dots?

Good point. Perhaps scalloping has something to do with it...

i don't know this to be true, but i will be bold and make the statement anyhow. if anyone has knowledge to the contrary, speak up:

You aren't going to find black dots on a mass produced jackson with a rosewood board.

but. yes, it does look dark for maple. and it does have white side dots.

i think that we can all agree that this is not a PS2.

what is it... yet to be determined.
and a mutt is possible. it is also possible that the modifications have made it impossible to determine its origins.
