Hi Everyone,
I'm looking at this used Jackson and trying to figure out what it is to make a decision on price. The seller thinks its either a "Pro Series" or an X-Series Soloist, but I'm thinking it might be a JS32. It has a bolt on neck, so defiantly not a Soloist and the serial number is a Chinese World Music made 2015 model. S/N CWJ1546441. It has an arch top and active Jackson pickups with a battery door on the back, I can't find any models with Jackson labelled pickups with a solid cover on it. This has me baffled and I have told him such. Basically I have him thinking of letting it go for $200CDN, he wont pull the neck to get me a pic of the date and model stamp, I really don't think he knows much about guitars in general... any Ideas, I'm tempted to just gamble $200 to see what it is..lol

CWJ is a JS. I've seen this before, its a limited run Dinky with a Jackson branded active pickups for GC/MF

Interesting.. The model from GC looks like a flat top vs. this is an arched top and there are bezels around the pickups on this one vs. the GC one. Guess It will be a purchase and take apart .. roll the dice so to speak.

Yea, its not the exact same model in the link, but I've seen the one in your post before, its also a limited run. Jackson brought in their own branded active pickups for a year or two (notably its on the KVX) before discontinuing it.

JS32Q DKA would be the model without the actives.
I just googled an old Long and McQuade ad showing the active version, but my internet speed is keeping the page from loading.
They may've changed the model name for a limited run, or they may've just called the JS32Q a limited run.

It's worth checking. but I don't think the JS series ever got around to using useful stamps in the neck pocket.

Good to note on the JS may not have anything useful in the neck pocket. From the pic's this thing needs a good deep cleaning, so when I get it, I'll just take it all a part.

Thanks Crumbling ... Found an old L&M flyer with that model in it.. looks like it may have been $599.99 when new. I'll follow up with some pics after I get my hands on it this weekend.

Well.. took the chance, bought it, cleaned it up, put new strings on it and gave it a proper setup... truss rod wasn't even tightened at all and the neck was like a banana.

Correct in that there is no markings in the neck pocket or on the neck:

Pickups seem OK for now.. might play with it a bit more and think about swapping them out from some EMGs, not really sure what BHK stands for:

Huh, pretty nice that they have the same Quick Connect pins as EMGs. They're OEM pickups made by a 3rd party company (called Hotch IIRC)., Epiphone pickups has BHC on the label (K = Korea, C = China)

Normally Belcat is the OEM for the Jackson-branded pickups in the JS Series. This is just conjecture but I wonder if the "B" stands for Belcat.
