Confirmation of serial on backplate and neck pocket.

Hey folks. Been lurking for a while since discovering how great older Japanese made Jacksons are.

I have a Dinky professional XL inbound with a back plate (raised black and chrome mix) that reads 501811, and a neck pocket with DK XL 6-3.

Am I right in interpreting it as a 1995 build that’s the 6th of March?

The 1995 part, yes.

But the March 6 part... not so much. It could be. But it could be something else, like neck 6 color 3 - an identifier of some sort, so that factories know which part goes where. I mean, it could also be June 3rd. Remember, not every country follows the same format for dates.

if it helps, the base of the neck had the same 6-3 code on it so that certainly sounds like some sort of pairing.
